Sam Alba Memorial Park was acquired for recreational use from the Ontario-Montclair School District in November 1952. Formerly called “El Parquecito” (The Little Park), it was renamed in 1995 in honor of Sam Alba, an active community member.
The park is located on the northwest corner of Sunkist Street and Sultana Avenue and is equipped with a basketball court, drinking fountain, children’s playground and restrooms. There is also a sizeable multi-use turf area with a backstop for baseball and softball.
