The Presidio Tunnel Tops is a dog-friendly San Francisco’s great escape park – a beautiful 14-acre park at the center of the Presidio featuring views, nature, and play. Tunnel Tops welcomes dogs (on leash), and waste bags are available at the entrance to the Presidio Plaza.
“By reconnecting Crissy Field and the Main Parade, the Tunnel Tops knits back together the Presidio, which was split in two by [Doyle Drive] for almost a century,” says Jean Fraser, CEO of the Presidio Trust.
There are many delicious and diverse pop-up food options from mobile trucks, carts and tents (depending on availability and weather) throughout the week, and picnic areas throughout the park.
There are play areas for the kids and great trails for dog walking throughout the park. And the views are incredible – you can see the whole of the Golden Gate marina all the way over to Alcatraz.
