Panorama Dome Trail begins on Lake Mary Road near the junction with Twin Lakes Road. Leashed dogs are welcome on this short, 1.8-mile trail that leads to the summit of Panorama Dome. From the top of the Dome you can take in 360-degree views of Lakes Basin, Mammoth Crest and Mammoth Mountain.
To get to the trailhead, cross Lake Mary Road from the parking area at Twin Lakes Vista and start on the Lakes Basin Path. Follow this path as it leads you over a bridge and past the entrances to the mountain bike trailheads to the Panorama Dome Hiking Trail.
