Ontario Town Square

Ontario Town Square

Ontario Town Square is located on the east side of historical Euclid Avenue between B and C Streets, in the heart of downtown Ontario. The Square was built as part of the revitalization of the downtown area to support various programmed events in the downtown.

This small park is organized on a diagonal view corridor and pedestrian promenade. Spaces of different scales are developed along the promenade, spiraling away from the central clock tower. Along the promenade, adjacent to the north of the tower, is a history wall. The wall is 34 feet in length, with a 20-inch high seat wall on each side, depicting the history and community of Ontario by local artist Andrea Benitez.

Ontario Town Square includes an outdoor amphitheater stage with a tile wall bearing a collage of original artwork of graphic historical symbols displaying the past, present and future of Ontario. The park also has open lawn areas for spectator seating, a children’s tot lot, a palm court area, a rose garden and conservation landscaping.
