Grove Memorial Park

Grove Memorial Park

Grove Memorial Park was an old rough and rocky dump ground that was given to the city of Ontario in August 1953 by the Housing Agency for park flood control purposes. In 2010, as part of the Community Development Block Grant project in the western section of the park, high water usage turf was removed and a California-friendly garden was installed. The garden includes a relaxing walking path with benches to sit on and enjoy the occasional hummingbirds.

Grove Memorial Park is located within John Galvin Park, which is also home to Schimmel Dog Park.
