There is a place in Mt. Shasta, California unlike any other, located in a bird sanctuary at 3,500 ft. at the base of majestic Mount Shasta which rises to 14,162 ft. In the center, of formerly named Strawberry Valley & later Sisson, Mt. Shasta City has a meticulously, restored, Victorian home that was built by Katie Kohn who migrated from Luxembourg in 1888. Next door, they also offer the Spanish home which was built by her daughter, Katie, in 1938. Dream Inn is located 1 block from our main street, Mt. Shasta Blvd., in downtown Mt. Shasta & is within walking distance of many shops and restaurants.
