The 30-acre Concord Community Park is located off the north side of Cowell Road between Hale Drive and Sheridan Road next to El Monte School in Concord.
There are two reservable group picnic/barbecue areas and many individual picnic tables with barbecues scattered throughout the park. The park is also home to a community pool and tennis courts.
A path around the park offers a flat, easy walk with shade trees. There are waste bag dispensers and garbage receptacles along the path, but it’s a good idea to bring your own bags in case the dispenser is out of bags.
Dogs must remain on leash while at Concord Community park.
The park has a couple parking lots off of Cowell Rd, however they do fill up, especially when swim meets are held at the pool. You can also access the park from the end of Reed Way or Lancashire Drive.
