Dog-friendly Carnelian West Beach is located on the west side of the Sierra Boat Company in Carnelian Bay. Carnelian West offers 530 linear feet of public beach. Park for free at the site’s shared parking lot adjacent to Gar Woods Grill and Pier Restaurant. Parking is available throughout the lot—there are no designated beach or restaurant spaces.
The site includes a lakefront promenade, benches, picnic tables, barbecues (bring your own charcoal), and restrooms. Gar Woods welcomes visitors to its pier and provides boaters with access to day-use mooring buoys.
Leashed dogs are welcome at Carnelian West; please pick up after your pet! Mutt mitts are provided.
