Cool Cabins originally got its start in 1998 by the Armstrong family who lived in a small town in the High Desert. They began with only three cabins, but as time progressed they began to start accumulating homes by word of mouth, and they now have over forty employees (all locals) and management of 350 properties in Big Bear with more and more joining every day. Pets are allowed in more than 150 of its vacation rentals.
