Bannon Creek Dog Park is a .6 acre, fully fenced off-leash dog park in Sacramento. The dog park is located at the South end of Bannon Creek Park, near Bannon Creek Elementary School.
The park has a mixture of grass and concrete, with shade trees, benches, waste bag dispensers and a dog drinking fountain. The park also has picnic tables (though food is prohibited in the dog park) and trash receptacles.
While the park is fairly small, it is large enough for a game of fetch, and for dogs to enjoy some play time. The entrance is double-gated for safety, however the park doesn’t have separate areas for small and large dogs, so use caution if you have a small pup.
