The Small Dog Park has running water, trees, grass…and chairs! The public restroom is located between the dog park and the tennis courts. There is a drinking fountain there too. If you and your small dog would like to take a stroll after exercising in the small dog park, there is a very nice walk path along the beach at Crown Memorial State Beach, a short walk from the Small Dog Park.
The Alameda Small Dog Park is located in Lower Washington Park at Eighth Street & Portola Avenue, near where Eighth Street turns into Westline Drive, in Alameda, California. The parking lot entrance is off Eighth Street, adjacent to the tennis courts.
Weight limit: 30 pounds and under.
